This book brings together a range of art styles that I feel personally connected to and creatively inspired by. Each style included has influenced my artistic development in some way, and I’ve made an effort to experiment with them in my own work. These styles are not just aesthetically appealing to me, I see them as meaningful contributions to the broader world of art and design.

As part of this project, I conducted research into each style’s origins, key characteristics, and cultural significance. I also explored the work of artists who were central to the development of these styles, studying their creative approaches and the impact they had on the art world. This deeper understanding helped me see how individual vision and broader movements come together to shape artistic expression.

Working on this book has been a valuable learning process. It has helped me grow both technically and conceptually, and has brought me closer to discovering my own artistic voice. By studying the styles and artists that resonate with me, I’ve been able to reflect on the kind of designer I want to become and what kind of work I want to create.
